The award-winning producer has launched its first-ever annual luxury release, which will evolve and change with each year. By far the most ambitious, limited, and exclusive whiskey they have ever crafted, this intricately complex expression is a Milestone for Westward and triumph in American whiskey.

Westward Whiskey Milestone showcases Verum Factum, their maker’s knowledge gleaned through years of experience. With Milestone, they have drawn from Old World winemaking, distilling, and maturation traditions, bringing them to life in an entirely new way – one that had yet to be applied to American whiskey, until now.

Westward Whiskey Milestone is crafted from a twenty-one barrel Solera system that includes some of their oldest and most precious whiskeys and a long, slow proofing process. Together, these techniques raise this whiskey to showcase the full spectrum of nearly twenty years of expertise and work. Westward Whiskey Milestone reflects more complex aromas, a long, lingering finish, and unparalleled depth of flavor while still allowing Westward’s signature fruity notes to shine.

Under the guidance of Master Blender Miles Munroe, the company will draw off a small fraction of this whiskey for each annual release, replacing it with something unique from the barrel house. This fractional blending and meticulous proofing process will continue year after year.

Pulling from the archives, we have integrated some of our oldest whiskeys with a selection of beautiful wine and wood finishes, both from our home near in Willamette Valley and from coveted winemaking regions around the world.”

Each custom bottle of Westward Whiskey Milestone is individually numbered and is accompanied by an elegant gift box inspired by the company’s Northwest heritage. Each gift box contains an individually numbered bottle and unique registration code.

Included with each purchase is a printed invitation to join the Milestone Society, the company’s invitation-only community of enthusiasts, open exclusively to bottle holders.
