The “Pappy Holidays” raffle will fund construction of a new Forensics Annex in Elizabethtown

Elizabethtown, Kentucky: One lucky winner will be bringing Pappy Van Winkle home for the holidays! Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Svcs., a local nonprofit that provides free healing services to adult and child victims of sexual violence, is hosting a “Pappy Holidays” raffle fundraiser through November 30.

The fundraiser features six highly-sought after bottles of Pappy Van Winkle, including: Old Rip Van Winkle (10-year); Van Winkle Special Reserve (12-year Lot “B”); Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye (13-year); Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve (15-year); Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve (20-year); and Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve (23-year) Bottle #L0965. The winner will take home all six bottles.

The Pappy Holidays fundraiser will help fund a new Forensics Annex building at the nonprofit’s Elizabethtown campus. This new building will allow Silverleaf Svcs. to expand forensic services for children and families who have experienced abuse, assault, and human trafficking. The annex will allow for simultaneous forensic interviews, space for post-interview consultations, and allow separation and additional privacy from those seeking therapy and other healing services.

The raffle is limited to 1,500 tickets. No purchase limits apply while supplies last. Participants must be 21-years-old and living in the United States to enter. The raffle winner will be chosen by random draw during a Facebook Live stream on Tuesday, November 30 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Tickets are on sale now until the time of the drawing or until they sell out. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the agency’s website at silverleafky.org. All proceeds will go directly toward construction of the Forensics Annex building project.
