Four Roses (OESF) via Blades & Boards
This particular Four Roses Single Barrel was selected to stock a new bar in the TD Garden in Boston. The bar “Blades & Boards” was to be a destination for sports fans, but due to the impact of the previous calendar year the bar will not be opening in the foreseeable future. As such–the bottles were offered through retail channels in Beantown with a portion of proceeds going to support the bar and restaurant industry in the area.

REVIEW & TASTING NOTES
A touch floral up front with an underlying layer of toffee carries this Four Roses through to being a unique and tasty pour. It’s a different enough profile that whiskey fans who enjoy a little more herbal and floral action could really get into this. If you’re working your way through all ten recipes from Four Roses, this is a fun one to try. Glad I was able to get a bottle of this–and I’ll be reserving it for enjoying during Bruins games throughout 2021. Cheers!
